Sorry for the late comic. I don't have much of an excuse except for a couple of get-to-gethers I had planned with some friends on saturday and some coworkers on sunday. Didn't leave too much room for H*E. I hope the massively improved art makes up for it. This is, I think, the best H*E art that I've done to date, and it easily rivals an Aristotle strip in terms of anatomical correctness and detail (assuming that an Aristotle strip was B+E and only 4 panels).
Came across an interesting comic this week. Danielle Corsetto of Girls With Slingshots had been on vacation, and had a slew of other artists filling in for her. Among them was Robert Bowers who makes the comic Hilarity Ensues. The similiarity in our two comic titles is uncanny. Luckily the strips themselves aren't. Bowers stylizes photographs he takes with his authors, and then captions the photos with his character's dialogue. The title is meant to be ironic, as most of the storyline is very dramatic and emotional, with only slight comic relief.
